If you are looking for a long-term cosmetic solution that will give you straighter whiter teeth then veneers may be the answer. A veneer is a thin porcelain layer that is attached to your own tooth, disguising any imperfections and leaving you with flawless and natural looking teeth.
How does it work
Veneers can be used as a permanent solution for discoloured, chipped, cracked or crooked teeth. If you need veneers, we will make a mould of your teeth which will be sent to our dental laboratory where your veneers will be specially made to fit your teeth and match the colour of your existing set.
Once we have your veneers, we will reshape your existing tooth, removing a small layer of enamel and then attach your veneer onto the remaining section of tooth. Your veneers should look and feel completely natural.
Alternative options
At Complete Dentistry we believe in providing individual solutions tailored around the needs of each patient. We have a great deal of experience in providing patients with dental veneers but we can also offer alternative options if you feel veneers aren’t for you. For example; straighter teeth can be delivered using conventional orthodontics, where teeth are essentially ‘pushed’ into a more favourable position (we will refer you to a specialist orthodontist) and you could still have tooth whitening or veneers if required. Depending upon your need, a combination of these methods may provide the best results.
